Our team was engaged by a leading UAE-based retail group to standardize business operations and establish a comprehensive Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) framework across its end-to-end value chain.
The scope of the engagement covered SOPs for Factory Operations, Warehouse Management, Retail Store Operations, Supply Chain, E-Commerce, Planning & Procurement, Inventory Management, Sales & Receipts, along with documenting policies for Human Resources, Finance, Delegation of Authority and other supporting functions.
Coordinator was appointed from client side for tracking the progress and validation of process documented. Process flows were validated with process owners and Business Heads.
Based on the assessment, comprehensive SOPs were developed for each business function, outlining process objectives, scope, detailed procedures, roles and responsibilities, key inputs and outputs, approval workflows, escalation mechanisms, and process controls. The SOPs were aligned with industry leading practices and tailored to the client’s operating model to ensure practical implementation across all business units.
The team also facilitated review sessions with management and process owners to validate the documented procedures, incorporate operational requirements, and ensure organization-wide alignment prior to implementation.
