Our team was engaged by a leading manufacturing group in UAE to strengthen its governance framework, standardize operational processes, and enhance risk management and internal control practices across its manufacturing and support functions.
The project commenced with a comprehensive review of existing operations through stakeholder interviews, process observations, and workshops with key personnel from production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, procurement, finance, and warehouse functions.
We developed a suite of SOPs covering the end-to-end manufacturing lifecycle which included Demand Forecasting and Production Planning, Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Procurement of Raw Materials, Vendor Management, Goods Receipt and Inspection, Inventory and Warehouse Management, Production Scheduling, Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC), Finished Goods Handling, Dispatch and Logistics, Cost Monitoring, and Inventory Reconciliation.
The SOPs clearly defined process objectives, detailed workflows, responsibilities of various departments, approval requirements, system touchpoints, key performance indicators, and control activities to ensure consistency in execution across manufacturing sites.
